Web Hosting Provider Basiclink Wins Free Times Square Ad

02:31:43 - 11 July 2007

San Diego based web hosting provider Basiclink has been awarded a free Times Square ad for two days by Dell Computer's Small Business Division as part of an online contest asking small business owners to express why "your business deserves an ad in Times Square."

Business owners were requested to submit a graphic depicting their business and a short statement of less than 50 characters which would finish the statement 'We believe…'

BasicLink, a San Diego based small business for over 11 years, founded by Daniel Seiden of Coronado, entered the contest with the statement 'We Believe in Real Web Hosting, Beyond Expectation.', and included a graphic especially designed for the contest.

The contest entries were judged on the following criteria: 25% originality, 25% expression of theme, 25% clarity of statement and 25% quality of the photo.

Basiclink's slogan refers to the origins of a true web host, or a company that hosts other business websites. It also reflects Basiclink's commitment to clients such as the Cohn Restaurant Group, Village Hat Shop, Skin Industries, Backwoods, Beauty First, Southern California Yachts, EBI LTD. and many others.

"The Ad is testament to our creative team's ability to deliver world class graphics and copy for websites and even Times Square billboards," said Bryant Seely, Director of Marketing. "We're a small business that helps small business succeed, so we are honored that Dell would recognize that talent", he added.
