01:14:02 - 12 June 2006

Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine announced today that it will now offer its web hosting magazine content in PDA and Online formats, making the magazine accessible to a larger number of readers.

DENHAM SPRINGS, LA – Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine (http://www.pingzine.com), the longest-running and most widely read print magazine for the web hosting industry, announced today that it will now offer its award-winning magazine content in PDA and Online formats, in addition to its traditional print version.

Both new formats will be available for download on the company’s web site free of charge, and will incorporate the same content as the print magazine, including advertisements. The Online format will be available via either Portable Document Files (PDF) or eBook with Microsoft Reader.

“Our readership is comprised largely of tech-savvy and Internet based professionals, so we feel it is necessary to provide our magazine in a format that best represents the very topic we are covering,” said Keith Duncan, Publisher, Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine. “I’ve always felt it was kind of ironic that a magazine covering the web hosting industry is only available on paper.”

The PDA version of the magazine is available with the free Mobipocket Reader software, which runs on Pocket PC, Smartphone, SymbianOS, and PalmOS devices.

Ping! Zine’s print format will continue to be available free of charge for customers in North America, and the company has no plans to discontinue the format.
