Texas-Based Credit Union Picks SBC for IP Networking Services

SBC Communications Inc. (www.sbc.com) announced a new contract to provide IP telephony and network services to Texans Credit Union, a not-for-profit financial cooperative based in Richardson, Texas.

Under the terms of the three-year contract, SBC companies will deliver its SBC PremierSERVSM IP Telephony Advantage managed services for Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions supporting the Cisco Systems® Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data (AVVID) platform.

SBC companies will also provide SBC PremierSERVSM Network-based Virtual Private Network (NVPN), SBC PremierSERVSM Data Center Hosting and OPT-E-MAN® service.

SBC companies will also provide network integration services, such as SBC PremierSERVSM Staging, SBC PremierSERVSM Consulting Services and SBC Project Management.

Together, the new services will expand Texans Credit Union's network and provide a platform for highly reliable voice, video and data transmission. The new network will also provide an always-available customer contact center for Texans Credit Union's customers.
