Within the industry of web hosting, the options seem to be an endless list of hosting providers. So, with the industry continuing to face some of the fiercest complementation amongst the ranks, how does a privately held company stand out to both its customers and to its prospective customers?

For HostingPlex, the quality it has developed itself on is 1. Service, 2. Price and 3. Reputation. The company's foundation was designed from the ground up around service. President, Kaumil Patel and Technology Director Kevin Moonlight, had multiple negative customer experiences with hosting companies in the infancy of the internet. It was these experiences that inspired HostingPlex to open shop.

HostingPlex has continued to invest in itself so their customers can enjoy the finest of the internet. Having recently remodeled the company so to be able to add office space, telephone tools and day-to-day working tools, has allows the company to have an industry leading infrastructure based on reliability and scalability. Founded in October 2000, HostingPlex has a unique tale in its history in that the founders based this infrastructure on their personal hosting experiences they had gone through in not being able to get backups and getting knocked off the servers for outrageous reasons.

The customer service is evident from the first moment of contact with HostingPlex as Patel explains, "we are showing people that getting online is easy and affordable. We do this through creating a good relationship with a mutual foundation."

The customer's experience has also dictated the offerings in web solutions beginning with basic shared hosting to the 2004 expansion into dedicated servers. Through the feedback from calls, HostingPlex has developed services in customer programming, Web design and offsite back-ups.

In order to continue to meet and exceed customer's expectations, HostingPlex is looking to the future for growth opportunities in the budget windows and dedicated servers markets. Patel said, "The dedicated server market, especially the new low-end $99 dedicated server market is going to see the biggest growth," for 2004.

He adds, "Hosting will continue to grow on a whole. It's the foundation of the internet."

HostingPlex maintains itself through some key points in how it handles its decisions. Patel explains, "We actually own all the hardware, have a proprietary customer management and ordering system; every aspect of every managed account is included."

For the upcoming year, like many others, HostingPlex has added features to its own site so customers may access their accounts and make changes readily. It is with this that a new marketing campaign was designed and implemented.

Because of this aggressive strategy, HostingPlex has made competitive pricing adjustments, prospecting the local Toronto market with branding and highlighting professional services such as programming and site design.

With its strong foundation in service, HostingPlex has built a scalable business that customers and the industry can look to for leadership and growth.
