SureStartTM To Deliver PeopleSoft Solutions

00:00:00 - 24 September 2004

September 24, 2004 - (HostReview.com) - The Surebridge (www.surebridge.com) division of NaviSite, a leading application outsourcer of On Demand Solutions for middle market companies, today announced the launch of its SureStartTM service, a template driven approach that delivers cost-effective Peoplesoft functionality to mid-market companies in a matter of weeks.

Following the SureStart Rapid Implementation Methodology, which is an accelerated version of Surebridge's proven SureSuccess Methodology, SureStart ensures a rapid return on investment by combining the cost-effectiveness of a packaged solution with the flexibility to accommodate customer's specific needs.

Unlike lab implementations that minimize customer interaction and customization, SureStart Rapid Implementation Methodology means that approximately 30% of the implementation is spent onsite at the customer's facility to maximize knowledge transfer and configure PeopleSoft around the customer's specific requirements. Surebridge also promotes the ongoing success of the solution through optional application management as post-production support.

"With tight budgets and the need for faster ROI, many organizations are seeking solutions that are quicker to implement, often at the expense of limited functionality or support. With SureStart, our customers get the best of both worlds - rapid return on investment and the mission critical functionality that their business requires," said Stephen Pace, senior vice president of Marketing and Sales for NaviSite.

One of the initial implementations of the SureStart Program is Eagle-Tribune Publishing Company. Family-owned since 1898, The Pulitzer Prize-winning Eagle-Tribune Publishing Company operates four daily and six weekly newspapers serving 80 communities in northeastern Massachusetts and southeastern New Hampshire.
"Even prior to implementation, Surebridge helped us to identify the best practices and new software functionality that was most appropriate for our company," said John S. Gregory, vice president, Business Systems for Eagle-Tribune Publishing Company. "While Surebridge was strong in every phase of the project, it excelled in the Design and Validate phases which had us well prepared for our "Go-Live" process and created a smooth knowledge transfer and transition process for our PeopleSoft deployment."
