Affinity Internet Names Winner of Giveaway

00:00:00 - 07 September 2004

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - Sept. 7, 2004 - Affinity Internet, the leading web services provider for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which prides itself on customer service and investing in its customers' success through premium products and services, today announced a winner in the company's Mini Cooper giveaway.  Todd Mocahbee, owner of Creative Concrete LLC, won a choice of the new car or its monetary equivalent (new ValueWeb customers and existing customers who upgraded their account between April and July were eligible for the drawing).

Creative Concrete's web site, www.creativeconcretellc.com, won the random drawing.  The company's owner plans to take the monetary equivalent and use it towards the purchase of a new truck for the expanding business.  Creative Concrete has used its web site as a way to communicate with existing clients and potential new customers through testimonials, work samples and a custom color palette.

"At one time, I thought a web site wasn't necessary.  But we've found that our web site allows us to both gain new clients and reach clients who we weren't able to reach before," said Mocahbee.  "We use our web site to demonstrate our capabilities with a combination of examples and testimonials that makes our prospective customers feel more at ease that their results will be great.  This is something you just can't achieve with word of mouth marketing."

ValueWeb is Affinity's premium web services brand, offering web site design and management, shared and dedicated hosting, web site marketing tools, industry-leading software and e-commerce tools.  Affinity recently debuted bundled premium web services suites for its ValueWeb customers.  The premium services bundles include everything a small to medium-sized business needs to create, manage, market and maximize its online presence, including site creation, marketing, management and security.  The bundles are fully integrated into Affinity's ValueWeb hosting offerings and supported by Affinity's customer service "guides" - available 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days-a-year.

"Creative Concrete is a great example of a company from a traditional 'brick and mortar' industry that has used a web presence to better communicate with new and existing customers, both from a sales perspective and in maintaining ongoing relationships," said Jim Collins, CMO, Affinity Internet.  "This is the type of company Affinity strives to serve - the SMB that might think the Internet can't possibly work for them, but they get real benefit out of a web site when they have the right tools and support."
