Zeus Technology to deploy Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager

00:00:00 - 24 August 2004

August 24, 2004  - (HostReview.com) - Zeus Technology (www.zeus.com), the acknowledged leader in Internet infrastructure solutions, today announced that the Document Systems Inc., developer of Docmagic, leading loan document production software, has selected to deploy Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager, the next generation in traffic management and load balancing.

Nicholas Bernstein, Unix Systems Admin at Document Systems Inc. commented, "We evaluated both commercial and open source traffic management solution which would allow us to have a robust, scalable, fault tolerant load balancing system. None of the other products were near competing with Zeus, the price, simplicity of its install and configuration - nothing came close."

ZXTM allows DSI to simply manage traffic to any combination of back end servers. Whilst other solutions would have required multiple software packages or devices to deal with different server types, ZXTM is able to read and manage requests to both their website running on Windows 2000 and their application servers running on Linux as well as any future additions to their infrastructure.

Steve Palmer, Marketing Manager at Zeus Technology commented, "By deploying ZXTM, DSI have been able to overcome existing limitations in their infrastructure and now have the flexibility to deploy any type of server or operating system on their network, ensuring they can continue to expand, improve and enhance their market-leading services to maintain their respected position in the industry."

Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager is the next generation in high- availability, application-centric traffic management and load balancing, providing unparalleled control, intelligence, security and resilience for all your application traffic.
