HostGator Announces Recipients Of Technology Scholarship

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 28, 2018/PRNewswire/ -- HostGator, an Endurance International Group company, announced today the recipients of its 2018-2019 Technology Student Scholarship.

HostGator congratulates the following winners:

• Sara Guerry,Radford University, studying social work
• Nathan Schams,University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, studying finance
• Anita Whittner,Nassau Community College, studying psychology

More than 380 applicants answered the essay question - "In what industry or area do you see technology making the largest impact in the next 10 years?" Entries were judged on originality, quality, and innovation of the ideas in their essays. Recipients will receive a$1,500scholarship to be applied to his or her college tuition and expenses.

HostGator was founded in 2002 in a dorm room by a college student, so the Technology Student  Scholarship program is an important part of fulfilling HostGator's commitment to supporting education. The company has awarded nine scholarships totaling$13,500since starting the program in 2016.
