iomart Nominated for Major Industry Award

08:11:08 - 28 January 2008

iomart receives Network Computing Managed Service Provider of the Year Nod

The Awards recognise the outstanding products and services that have been delivered by the IT Industry throughout the year. The winners are selected through a combination of judging panel and on line voting by Network Computing’s readership. The 2007 Awards saw in excess of 4,000 readers register their votes.

Sarah Haran, Managing Director, iomart commented: “We are delighted to have been nominated for a Network Computing Award, particularly given the level of competition in the Service Provider of the Year category.” Sarah added:”This nomination provides us with further evidence that our efforts in delivering high quality hosting and data centre services are being recognised by our peers. This nomination, coming on the back of our recent UK Online contract win and Microsoft Advanced Solutions Partner certification, has rounded off our January perfectly.”

Netintelligence, iomart’s sister company, also received a Network Computing Award New Product of the Year nomination for its Ni Mobile Content Manager. Ni Mobile Content Manager is a software service that has been developed as an automated method of testing mobile handsets for previous customer data at the end of the refurbishment process, and ensuring the handset is returned to a clean ‘factory setting’ state.

The winners of the awards will be announced at a gala event to be held at London’s Tower Hotel on Thursday March 13th 2008.

Voting for the awards is open until the 3rd March at: http://www.networkcomputingawards.co.uk
