Liquid Web Completes Dark Fiber Build - Doubling Bandwidth Allocations For All Current Clients

00:26:23 - 15 February 2007

A major network upgrade gives Liquid Web customers more bandwidth and options.

Lansing, MI - Liquid Web is proud to announce a series of significant capacity upgrades to it's network infrastructure. First and foremost Liquid Web has completed a massive dark fiber build reaching each of its data centers. This build is coupled with the completion of an on site high capacity state wide DWDM network which brings tens of gigabits of capacity to it's Michigan based data centers.

With the completion of this dark fiber build Liquid Web has brought additional capacity online from Tier1 provider AT&T, as well as a full OC48 (2.48Gbps) with Tier1 provider Level3 Communications. This capacity expansion is live and has effectively extended the Liquid Web network by greater than 3 gigabits, bringing it's total IP capacity to nearly 5 gigabits between it's four Tier1 providers. This is only the first of a series of major upgrades and will allow Liquid Web to cateraggressively to high bandwidth clients and the ever expanding network requirements of server operations in general.

In it's continued commitment to supporting the success of it's clients Liquid Web has as of today , doubled the bandwidth allocations for all current clients including Managed Dedicated Server, VPS, and Shared Hosting  clients with no additional charges. "The success of our clients is our success as well, and we are committed to supporting them in every regard. This is merely the first in a series of enhancements which we will be offering to our users in the coming months." said Liquid Web CEO, Matthew Hill.

Liquid Web has also doubled bandwidth allocations on all new product offerings including Shared, VPS, and Managed Dedicated Server products. Visit http://www.liquidweb.com for further information and pricing.
