ProactiveNet Reports Record Sales Quarter

00:00:00 - 18 August 2004

August 18, 2004 - (HostReview.com) - ProactiveNet, Inc. (www.proactivenet.com), the technology leader in real-time application, SLA and infrastructure performance analytics, today announced it has completed another record sales quarter. The company, at the end of its fiscal second quarter for 2004, increased revenue by 41% over the same period in 2003, and increased revenue by 33% over the first quarter of 2004. Sales growth resulted from a combination of new customer wins and significant contract extensions for customers in the financial, electronic retail and government sectors.

ProactiveNet's sales momentum is due in part to the company's proven ability to help IT operations groups within Fortune 1000 accounts optimize the performance of their business critical applications infrastructure. The company's namesake software includes patented correlation and root-cause analysis technology that enables IT teams to correlate, in real-time, performance data from their existing systems management tools with performance data from the application infrastructure and service level agreements (SLAs).

ProactiveNet's second quarter highlights include the launch of ProactiveNet 6.0 and a Product of the Year Award from CMP Media's Network Computing Magazine.

ProactiveNet 6.0 was praised by customers for its new SLA performance analytics capabilities. The product's SLA Views provide the unique ability to directly link, in real-time, SLA compliance data with correlated, root cause analysis of application infrastructure performance data. ProactiveNet's Product of the Year Award was particularly special because it was ProactiveNet's second consecutive Product of the Year award from the publication.
"It takes a solid team to continuously create, market, sell and support an innovative product that evolves with the needs of our customers," said Ajay Singh, president and CEO of ProactiveNet. "I remain quite pleased with our entire team, and look forward to the remainder of the year with enthusiasm."

In a June 2004 ROI analysis of a Fortune 100 online retailer, industry research firm Ptak, Noel & Associates summarized: "ProactiveNet helped improve IT productivity, protect online revenues, mitigate business risks of launching new online services, and lower capital expenditures." Within the content of the report, the firm states that the ROI break-even on the initial ProactiveNet licensing, deployment and training costs was achieved in just one month, and additional Web site revenue and salary avoidance procured as a result of the product's efficiencies totaled more than $2 million the first year of deployment.

Customers include leading enterprises such as E*TRADE FINANCIAL, Ford, Hoover's Online, McKesson and Walmart.com. ProactiveNet has established strategic partnerships with BEA Systems, Computer Associates, IBM/ Rational Software, Keynote Systems, and Sun Microsystems.
