cPanel now available on Cirrus Tech VPS and Dedicated Server Hosting PlansCirrus Tech is now offering cPanel as an alternative to their Plesk Control Panel on new Linux VPS Plans and Dedicated Servers. October 27, 2008; 01:31 PM
Toronto, ON – Oct 24, 2008 Cirrus Tech, a leading Canadian web host and global provider of Internet services, has announced that it will be offering new VPS and Dedicated Server clients with the option of cPanel and WHM installed on their plan. With a significant number of Linux web hosting providers employing cPanel as their control panel solution, it has become one of the leading control panels in the web hosting industry today. As a result, cPanel has gained a large dedicated following of users. Cirrus Tech hopes that their customer-driven initiative of offering cPanel will attract the loyal cPanel customer base that would have otherwise not considered Cirrus Tech as their web hosting provider. While clients always had the ability to purchase cPanel licenses and install it themselves on their VPS or Dedicated Server, Cirrus Tech realized that this was not practical for some clients. By purchasing and installing the cPanel license for them, Cirrus Tech felt it was a win-win solution for all. New VPS clients not particularly attached to a specific control panel now have a choice between Plesk and cPanel. As for loyal cPanel users, they will now be able to purchase one of Cirrus Tech’s Linux VPS plans with their control panel of choice. An unlimited domains license of cPanel and WebHost Manager (WHM) will be available only on new CentOS 4 and 5 VPS Plans and Dedicated Servers as an add-on. Cirrus Tech has indicated that they have no immediate plans to offer cPanel on their shared hosting services. About Cirrus Tech Ltd |
