BOULOGNE-BILLANCOURT, FRANCE (November 21, 2008) – Ikoula, a leading hosting and data center solutions provider in France, announced today the addition of R1Soft Continuous Data Protection® (CDP) as an upscale backup solution for self-managed dedicated servers and managed hosting.  For their enterprise customers, Ikoula will offer the premium backup service bundled with secured storage.

Ikoula selected R1Soft CDP over competing backup solutions for several significant features including the ability to delegate admin rights to customers, scalability, API and email reports. R1Soft CDP also allows for quick and easy implementation across Windows and Linux platforms, an essential capability that will enable them to centrally manage all of their backups from one centralized location in their heterogeneous data center.

The data center features many internally developed monitoring tools and services including its own platform “Ikexpress,” the architecture of its dedicated servers.
