ServerPoint Continues to Bolster Network with Addition of Time Warner Backbone

LAS VEGAS (November 3, 2008) -- ServerPoint (http://www.serverpoint.com), a leading provider of Shared, Reseller, Colocated, Dedicated and VPS hosting solutions, today announced the addition of Time Warner as a network backbone provider, adding multiple gigabytes of additional bandwidth capacity.

The addition of Time Warner ultimately provides additional redundancy and ensures greater reliability of ServerPoint’s network. Redundancy is important for enterprise datacenters to help guarantee robust performance in the event of an outage of a single or multiple backbone providers. ServerPoint now has four major backbone providers in its private datacenter facility, and the company will continue to add more providers in the coming weeks and months.

As a national Internet Service Provider (ISP) for residential and business customers, Time Warner also guarantees greater reachability across the Untied States. Time Warner’s peering agreements with other ISPs will also reduce latency for subscribers North America and abroad.
