CrystalTech Web Hosting, a Newtek Business Services
company, and leading provider of Windows web hosting, has announced the
availability of ColdFusion® 8 Enterprise as an option on all Windows®
dedicated hosting plans.
As the first product release since CrystalTech announced their new partnership with
Adobe® on December 3rd, the monthly licensing structure provides developers and
business owners an affordable alternative to purchasing a ColdFusion 8 Enterprise
license on their own, which has a retail cost of over $7,000 USD. The Enterprise
edition includes a number of robust features, including sandboxing, event gateway
architecture, PDF and document services, high-performance email delivery, multi-threaded
CFML, and J2EE application server deployment.
“This is an ideal option for any ColdFusion developer as it provides them with the
privacy of being the sole user on the server without the huge cost of purchasing
their own license,” said Robert Cichon, President of CrystalTech. “Our new partnership
with Adobe has given us the means to provide a truly cost-effective way for our
customers to take advantage of this powerful web environment.”
The ColdFusion license offering follows CrystalTech's recent release of new 64-bit
dedicated servers, making their dedicated options some of the most powerful and
cost effective solutions in the industry. “We've always been know for our outstanding
ColdFusion shared hosting support,” added Cichon. “Our push for new and exciting
options for our dedicated customers will really solidify us as one of the premier
providers in Windows and ColdFusion hosting.”
CrystalTech will be offering the ColdFusion 8 Enterprise option for the
month of December at a promotional price of $99.95 per month, with a
one time setup fee of $99.95. Further information about ColdFusion at
