Exchange My Mail Uses SWsoft PEM to Deploy Microsoft Exchange 2007 and Blackberry ServicesNovember 8, 2007; 10:55 AM HERNDON, Va. -- SWsoft announced today that Exchange My Mail Inc. is expanding its use of SWsoft PEM automation software to launch Hosted Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Blackberry mobile email services. The new offerings will enable Exchange My Mail customers and resellers to manage and deploy messaging and collaboration solutions, and cost-effectively add support for Blackberry technologies. Using the PEM solution for Hosted Exchange, Exchange My Mail can deploy both Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 service offerings. PEM also automates the provisioning, billing and monitoring of Blackberry services, allowing Exchange My Mail to offer mobile email solutions previously provided by large telecom carriers. "The SWsoft PEM solution for Hosted Exchange allows us to offer the most advanced and up-to-date messaging services to our customers," said Dave Grantz, chief information officer, Exchange My Mail. "This creates an opportunity for us to reach a larger customer base and grow demand for these service offerings." "PEM enables service providers, such as Exchange My Mail, to automate all aspects of advanced Microsoft service offerings, such as Hosted Exchange and Windows SharePoint Services," said Kurt Daniel, senior vice president of marketing and business development, SWsoft. "Service providers can also use PEM to take advantage of our Open Fusion initiative to launch integrated hosting services and take advantage of software-as-a-service (SaaS) opportunities." PEM is a customizable data center automation solution that allows service providers to more efficiently manage their infrastructure. With PEM's modular design and flexible architecture, a system can expand to include new services and scale to several million customers. § Hosted Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 – PEM supports Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2003 within the same infrastructure, allowing service providers to deploy both versions and providing a migration path for legacy mailboxes from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007. § Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 – PEM enables service providers to automatically deliver advanced collaboration services using Windows SharePoint Services. § BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1.4 – PEM allows service providers and resellers to automatically provision Exchange accounts on Blackberry Enterprise Servers while allowing customers to initiate email activation and remote device wiping using a web interface. Open Fusion is an SWsoft technology initiative to improve integration among a wide range of systems, third-party applications and modules, and custom and in-house solutions. The Open Fusion platform enables optimized delivery of SaaS and traditional hosting services to help independent software vendors and service providers take full advantage of new opportunities in the market. The Application Packaging Standard (APS) is a key element in this initiative and provides a format for software applications running on hosting platforms. About Exchange My Mail About SWsoft
