Davis Langdon hosts its new SAP system with Attenda

October 11, 2007; 04:46 AM
London -- Attenda Limited, the Always On Managed Services Company, today announced that Davis Langdon has placed a five year, six-figure contract, with Attenda, to host a new SAP system implementation across its UK and Middle-Eastern business.

Davis Langdon LLP has some 3,820 staff in 95 offices worldwide operating across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and the United States. It is part of the global practice Davis Langdon & Seah International, one of the world's largest project and cost consultants, providing a complete range of professional services to the construction industry.

The new integrated SAP ERP system, is being implemented by Axon, the largest dedicated global SAP Service Provider, and is part of Davis Langdon's strategic plan. The SAP solution provides the business with a platform for growth and executive partners with greater visibility of the business operation and key performance indicators. Attenda has worked closely with Davis Langdon and Axon to ensure that the infrastructure required to deliver the project is made available on time and to budget.

The Attenda SAP infrastructure solution comprises several environments - production, training and development systems based at the Attenda London data centre and a test/QA system in Frankfurt, which for resilience also acts as a disaster recovery facility.

The system has been designed with the capacity to cater for Davis Langdon's five year growth plan and can be easily scaled to handle increased volume in the event of a merger or acquisition.

As an accredited SAP Hosting Partner, Attenda has built up a team of highly skilled, highly motivated and fully certified SAP engineers with the expertise required to support a wide range of SAP deployments. The partnership with SAP gives Attenda's clients access to the very latest SAP technologies and to an extended network of SAP technical specialists

Commenting on the contract, Chris Robinson, IT Partner, Davis Langdon says, "We chose Attenda from a stringent RFP selection process because they demonstrated exceptional skills in the Infrastructure and management of SAP and they could meet our ambitious delivery timescales."
