SWsoft Acquires Ensim Pro Automation Software Business

HERNDON, Va. and SUNNYVALE, Calif. – SWsoft has purchased the Ensim Pro software automation business from the Ensim Corporation of Sunnyvale, Calif., for an undisclosed amount. SWsoft and Ensim Corporation will remain independent entities.

The popular Ensim Pro control panel product is used worldwide by consumers, businesses and service providers. There are two versions of Ensim Pro -- for Linux and Windows operating systems -- used to automate the process of setting up and managing web servers, e-mail accounts, and software applications.

Ensim Pro will join the SWsoft Plesk, Confixx, HSPcomplete and PEM set of automation solutions.

The acquisition will assist SWsoft in broadening its portfolio of automation software and extending its OPEN FUSION and Application Packaging Standard (APS) initiatives to benefit a greater number of ISVs, service providers and end customers.

OPEN FUSION is an SWsoft technology initiative to improve integration among a wide range of systems, third-party applications and modules, and custom and in-house solutions. The OPEN FUSION platform enables optimized delivery of SaaS and traditional applications to help ISVs and service providers take full advantage of new opportunities in the market.
