ProperHost.net to Offer UK-based Web Hosting Services

Web hosting provider ProperHost.net (http://www.properhost.net) announced on Monday that they have expanded their offers to include web hosting services based on servers located in the United Kingdom. Customers now have the option to choose at which data center location they want their sites hosted.

Up until now, all client accounts have been hosted on US-based servers in PEER1’s facility in Fremont, California.

"Our intention is to provide an equally good service for all our clients, without regard to which part of the world they are physically located. With servers now available in the United Kingdom, clients from Europe, Asia, and Africa will all see a significant improvement in terms of network speed and latency," says Sindre Moe, Director of ProperHost.net.

The UK-based servers are deployed in the BlueSquare Data Center in Maidenhead, about 20 miles from London. A state-of-the-art facility utilizing N+1 redundancy systems and a total of 20Gbit/s network connectivity.
