SWsoft PEM Solution Adds Support for Hosted Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0

CHICAGO, HostingCon 2007 – Service providers can now centrally manage and deploy e-mail and collaboration solutions based on Hosted Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 using the latest release of the SWsoft PEM data center automation solution.

PEM 2.6.4 integrates with the Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration Version 4.0 to fully automate the delivery of hosted Exchange Server and SharePoint services by service providers to their customers.  With the latest PEM release, service providers can offer hosted Exchange Server services for direct sale to customers or through branded resellers.

PEM is the only commercial solution that provides pre-integrated billing, domain registration and centralized control panels for managing Hosted Messaging and Collaboration Version 4.0.  

The new version of PEM integrates with Hosted Messaging and Collaboration Version 4.0 to provide the following features:    

• Hosted Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 – Using PEM, end-users can deploy and manage hosted Exchange Server e-mail and collaboration solutions. Enhanced branding features make it easier for service providers to offer flexible resale options.
  
• Unified Messaging – Automatic provisioning of Microsoft Office Outlook Voice Access enables users to create and self-administer unified messaging features in Hosted Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.
  
• Scalable Architecture – PEM supports three tiers of service deployments so service providers can select the level of service and load balancing solutions that their customers demand.  
  
• Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 – PEM supports provisioning of SharePoint sites and users. Service providers can specify the number of users and size of the SharePoint site.
  
• End-User Level Control Panel – End-user administrators can delegate maintenance responsibilities to mailbox owners who can manage their service features.
