International Web hosting provider Globalwebbrands.com (www.globalwebbrands.com) has entered into a new partnership with Submitnet, an industry-leading search engine optimization specialist. The new partnership allows Globalwebbrands.com to market Submitnet’s SEO tools under its subsidiary, URL Logix.

“Though we offer search engine optimization tools within our Web hosting control panel,” stated Globalwebbrands.com CEO Daniel J. Briere, “we also had strong demand for more advanced tools. This is where Submitnet has really stepped up to the plate, helping us to fill a void in our services.”

In other news, Globalwebbrands.com has begun development on version 2 of the open-source Multihoster application. Multihoster is a PHP-based script that allows anyone to run a free Web hosting service, even from shared hosting. Globalwebbrands.com has made version 1 of the script available for download at http://www.urllogix.com/multihoster/.

“We have been involved with the open-source community for some time now with our Elefante Script Installer, but we wanted to get involved in a deeper manner,” stated Mr. Briere. “The original developer of Multihoster appears to have dropped development of the software, and it seemed like a logical fit with our main services.”
