Chicago, IL – With less than 5 months before the third annual
HostingCon Convention, top hosting industry leaders meet behind closed doors to
provide advice and direction for the upcoming event. The Advisory Board will
meet today to discuss how to make the upcoming HostingCon the best show yet. The
Advisory Board consists of industry experts includes, Isabel Wang (www.isabelwang.com),
Aaron Phillips (FastServers.Net), Ben Fisher (TechPadAgency),
Derek Vaughan (TechPadAgency), and
representation from Microsoft.
“I don't want to release unreal expectations, but informal talks during dinner
last night included some big name from the largest producer of computers/servers
and top executives from the worlds most deployed operating system. While I can't
leak the secret talks, I certainly can say we are raising the bar this year for
HostingCon with out of the box ideas,” said Aaron Phillips, Vice President of
Marketing at FastServers.Net.
With a full day of events underway this power house advisory board will
participate and provide the organizers of HostingCon 2007 feedback and idea’s
for the upcoming show. To get everyone in the mood for the convention the
HostingCon Advisory Board had the opportunity to see first hand the “W” Hotel,
Navy Pier, and Exhibit Hall last night. The tour of the facilities allowed
everyone in the group to ask questions and review the overall layout and current
strategies in place for upcoming convention.
A full day of topics has been planned in which the HostingCon Advisory Board to
discuss HostingCon 2007 topics. With topics that include speaker
recommendations, speaking topics, press procedures, events, show marketing, and
new ideas this power house board will spend the day brainstorming and laying the
foundation for HostingCon 2007.
Aaron also stated, “By bringing together this dynamic team of industry super
stars I really feel like the productivity level for this years meeting will far
exceed George Roberts expectations. George personally selected the best of the
breed Advisory Board that will provide him with invaluable ideas to make this
show another outstanding event for the industry.”
