GNi Appoints William B. Hanegan as Director of ITJanuary 4, 2007; 12:27 AM SAN JOSE, Calif. - Global Netoptex, Inc. Reporting directly to company CEO Derek Wise, Hanegan will be responsible for overseeing the company’s IT and engineering teams and will have direct responsibility for prioritizing projects, managing budgets, implementing technologies and instituting innovations that improve customer satisfaction. Previously, Hanegan was director of information security at Randall Boyd Corporation where he provided complete strategic oversight and coordinated practice lead and management functions. He successfully managed the growth of the company’s business risk management consulting practice and developed and implemented information security programs for several Fortune 500 companies. Earlier positions include manager of network services for Adecco, manager of network engineering for Ross Systems, Inc. and manager of technical services for Aames Financial Corporation. “Our main focus is customer satisfaction,” said Wise. “Hanegan understands the critical importance of using technology in innovative ways to increase that satisfaction. He’ll also be overseeing the technical budget to ensure we get the maximum impact from every dollar spent, both for our clients and for our company.” Hanegan earned a B.S. degree in computer science from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge.
