WebFaction upgrades shared hosting plans

December 22, 2006; 05:15 AM

Web Hosting provider WebFaction (http://www.webfaction.com) announced on Friday that it had upgraded all of its shared hosting plans. Disk space included in each plan has been doubled and bandwidth quadrupled. But most importantly, users can now run one more long-running process and use an extra 40MB of RAM per plan. This means that Rails, Django and TurboGears hosting is now available from $7.50/month.

WebFaction was established in 2003 and offers solid and flexible shared hosting. WebFaction's home grown control panel is recognized as one of the best in the industry for deploying applications in a few clicks and WebFaction is a very popular choice for people using agile tools such as Rails, Django, TurboGears and PHP.
