GigaTux, Linux-based hosting specialists, are now accepting preorders on a range of Virtual Private Server systems, with their most affordable starting at £9.99 per month.

Our prelaunch offers are as follows:

Uno: £9.99 per month, 128MB RAM, 25GB disk space, 100GB bandwidth

Duo: £18.99 per month, 256MB RAM, 50GB disk space, 200GB bandwidth

Trio: £27.99 per month, 384MB RAM, 75GB disk space, 300GB bandwidth

Quad: £36.99 per month, 512MB RAM, 100GB disk space, 400GB bandwidth

Pro: £54.99 per month, 768MB RAM, 150GB disk space, 600GB bandwidth

Enterprise: £72.99 per month, 1024MB RAM, 200GB disk space, 800GB bandwidth

All prices are for paying a year in advance. Monthly contracts are available, but cost slightly more. These offers are only valid until our main launch in February 2006, or whenever our servers reach capacity, whichever comes first!

What is a Virtual Server?

A virtual server involves partitioning resources from a full server, e.g. RAM, hard disk space and bandwidth, so that it appears as multiple servers. As each VPS runs its own copy of its operating system, each client has superuser-level (root) access and can install any software they wish.
