EarthLink Business Solutions(SM) Expands Broadband Offering to 320 Cities

EarthLink Business Solutions(SM), a unit of EarthLink Inc. (Nasdaq: ELNK), is expanding its business-class DSL broadband coverage to 320 small cities and towns in 29 states, giving businesses another choice for high-speed Internet access.

The expanded coverage area includes about one million businesses and 12 million households with more than 15 million telephone lines. Population in each city and town ranges from about 5,000 such as in Carmel, Calif., or Aspen, Co., to about 500,000 such as in Fresno, Calif., or El Paso, Texas. EarthLink Business Solutions(SM) is targeting single-site businesses, small offices, and home offices with its business-class DSL offering.

In addition to the broadband access, customers also get:
* Up to 8 static IP addresses
* Up to 25 email accounts protected by EarthLink's junk email program, spamBlocker
* 100 MB of email storage per email address
* 10 MB of personal web space per email address
* Dial-up access

EarthLink Business Solutions(SM) is expanding its coverage through Vancouver, Wash.-based New Edge Networks, which EarthLink acquired April of this year. New Edge Networks uses its network facilities in those cities and states to build and manage multi-location networks for businesses and other communications providers.
