Disk-based Backup Solution Developer Righteous Software to Announce Data Center Platform at ISPCON

HOUSTON, Texas — Houston-based Righteous Software, a developer of disk-based backup solutions designed for the Web hosting industry, will announce today the upcoming release of a new version of its backup software, Righteous Backup for Data Centers. The announcement will be made at the company’s booth during ISPCON (www.ispcon.com), a biannual trade show focusing exclusively on Internet Services.

The release of Righteous Backup for Data Centers builds upon the success of the company’s existing offerings designed to support individual Linux servers and hosting control panels. The software offers hosts the ability to run fully-automated, nearly continuous data backups. Additionally, Righteous Backup ensures Web servers remain completely operational and without significant performance reductions during backups.

Righteous Backup takes backups of servers at the sector level of hard disks, only copying disk sectors that changed following previous backups.
