Solutrea Expands Maryland Coverage with ieHouse Acquisition

Solutrea, the Digital Communications Networks provider, has agreed to purchase ieHouse, the Frederick, Maryland Wireless Internet Services Provider (WISP).

ieHouse’s wireless coverage adds to the Hometown Wireless coverage in Frederick already provided by Solutrea and allows for immediate network and subscriber growth.

David Lauterbach, CEO of Solutrea said, "The ieHouse acquisition allows us to complete coverage in the major residential and business zones of Frederick, which will result in consolidation of costs and increased opportunity for growth in both our business and residential subscriber bases. ieHouse’s expertise in networks for small business will allow us to offer a greater range of services and integration to our existing clients while maximizing our push for greater, and profitable, Wi-Fi and WiMax coverage on the East Coast."
