Verio Announces New Hosting Solutions, Features on Microsoft Windows for viaVerio Reseller Partners

Centennial, Colo. – Verio Inc. today announced the launch of new hosting solutions and feature enhancements on the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 platform for its viaVerio® Reseller Partners, delivering a wider range of client offerings to resellers and Web developers using Microsoft Windows applications, and bringing increased opportunities for revenue growth to reseller partners.

viaVerio resellers can now purchase a variety of shared hosting for Windows plans directly through the viaVerio channel program. The new plans provide a logical and easy growth path that addresses reseller and developer needs and in many cases, their clients’ business drivers and requirements as well.

For example, for resellers with small business customers who want to quickly launch basic Web sites, Verio’s Starter Plan for Windows is a cost-effective, easy way to launch one or two Windows-based Web sites. The MultiSite for Windows solution provides up to 10 unique sites for resellers or developers who deliver Web site creation or maintenance services to multiple customers, while eStorefront is better suited for users requiring ecommerce and email marketing functionality. Hosting on Microsoft SQL Server plan gives businesses access to a 200 MB Microsoft SQL Server database, and the Webmaster for Windows plan makes optimal use of the power of MultiSite functionality with up to 30 independent Web sites.

Verio is also launching new email capabilities for its MultiSite for Windows service and for other non-hosted Windows domains. Verio’s MultiSite offering provides users the ability to split the resources of an account so that the account owner can manage multiple independent sites. The newly added Email for MultiSite capabilities enables resellers to offer their customers even greater flexibility with the ability to create, edit and assign sub-domain email addresses for each of the independent client sites. Entry-level hosting plans will receive 200 email accounts, with the number of email accounts ranging up to 1000 depending on the hosting plan chosen. Users will benefit from email addresses that correspond to their domain name, eliminating the need for users to seek out email capabilities elsewhere.
