BRAINTREE, Mass. - DesignLynx LLC today introduced a first-of-its-kind crafting material technology that enables crafters to build stylish, creative wreaths and home accessories. The innovative flexible, reusable foam forms can be adorned and customized with an infinite mix of seasonal and thematic embellishments, creating decorations from holiday wreaths to everyday tablescapes to ornamental window valances. The company also launched www.design-lynx.com, an interactive forum where crafters can view and share design ideas, tips and how-to advice on creative crafting and decorating with DesignLynx products.

The durable, long-lasting, flexible foam forms from DesignLynx are made of a revolutionary foam technology that offers crafters the ability to create and recreate bendable, connectable, adaptable decorations that will not break down over time. The patent-protected products are constructed from bendable foam with a flexible wire interior. Each link can be easily bent, twisted and shaped to fit any form or design idea, and the innovative foam and wire material retains its shape once positioned. Project construction incorporates DesignLynx's innovative pin system for securing decorative elements onto the foam forms, and does not require glue guns, adhesives or other complex tools.

DesignLynx currently offers:

-- DesignerFlex - This product line comes in three styles. All styles are 24 inches long, include plastic connectable end caps and come with two of the same style in each package. Styles include:

-- Classic, a link of 1.5 inch diameter foam, available in green or white;

-- Braided, two links of 1 inch diameter foam pieces twisted together, offered in green or white; and

-- Grapevine, which is five pieces of 5/8-inch diameter twisted foam, available in brown.

-- FashionFlex - This line features a braided "three-in-one" product with one 28" link and one 46" link. It will be sold exclusively through QVC; and

-- FlexFoam - Designed for children, this product line is comprised of flexible foam with removable end connectors.

To accompany its foam forms, DesignLynx is developing a line of customized decorative accessories, including colorful and classy fabric sleeves, foliage, seasonal and thematic ribbon and bead garlands, and decorative pins that customers can use to tailor their DesignLynx product for any occasion.
