iWeb Appoints New Member to Board of Directors

iWeb Group Inc. (TSX-V : IWB) is pleased to announce that Daniel Leclair has joined the Board of Directors.  Having been appointed at the shareholder's annual meeting held March 15, 2006, Mr. Leclair was, until he retired in December 2005, Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Hydro-Québec. Prior to joining Hydro-Québec, Mr. Leclair held various positions at Montreal Trust, Chase Manhattan Bank of Canada and Caisse Centrale Desjardins. Mr. Leclair holds an Economy Degree from the University of Montreal.

Mr. Daniel Leclair joins Robert Brouillette, Jean-Pierre Gibeault, Eric Chouinard and Martin Leclair on iWeb's Board of Directors and replaces Yves Williams who resigned. "Yves William had an important contribution to the board and we want to thank him for his role since iWeb entered the stock market. He now needs more time to concentrate on his other projects and we wish him the best of luck.
