· WordPress updated to version 2.0, enabling many new features including an improved text editing tool, hideaway user options and drag-and-drop image importing
· Secure FTP (SFTP) allows users to upload over an encrypted connection,
ensuring that files and passwords stay secure
· Third-party SSL Certificates are now compatible with all hosting plans, providing additional security for websites and e-commerce transactions
· Dedicated IP addresses are now available from Netfirms for customers
wanting to use a third party SSL Certificate or optimize for search engines
· ModRewrite is now available – many applications utilize ModRewrite to ensure web addresses are easy to read and search engine friendly
