Hostirian Announces Opening of Newly Expanded Data Center

The expansion is the culmination of successfully selling out the first four phases of their Westport data center and continued strong demand for colocation cages and rack space. The expansion follows Hostirian’s recent acquisition of space and connectivity at a downtown St. Louis Carrier Hotel.

Investments in upgrading conditioned power availability, adding air handlers and enhancing switching fabric were required to maintain a consistent carrier class environment for the expanded colocation area. Clients have the option of buying rack space by the U, half or full racks while they are available. Consistency was a top priority because many existing clients have been requesting additional space.

The first 4 phases of Hostirian’s data center build-out have been leased by a variety of local St. Louis, regional Midwest and national content providers, online multi-player gaming and e-sports platforms, hosted VoIP providers, off site enterprise applications hosting, search engines and other hosting providers.

Clients in the newly expanded area will have access to Hostirian’s full suite of support services including Managed Security, Back Up Services to a SAN, Secure VPN tunneling and line speed throughput switching from Extreme Networks.
