SHOUTCast, developed by AOL’s Nullsoft, is a streaming audio and video technology with roughly 130 million listeners each month.

MonsterHosting,ca will provide its customers with fully-manageable control panel to administrate their SHOUTCast account. In addition, a custom-developed order wizard was implemented to allow users to create their own hosting plans.

“In classic MonsterHosting style, we decided that the best way to provide SHOUTCast was to give our customers the option to buy exactly what they need, and nothing more,” said Jones. “We were also able to add in the functionality for users to purchase personal web space on a separate server. Users can also add station liners, which are short clips used to brand radio stations,” she said.

SHOUTCast web hosting plans start at $5.95/mo USD or $6.95/mo CAD. The company is also working on a reseller model for the service.
