Harte-Hanks Trillium Software and Informatica Japan Partner To Deliver a High-Quality Data Integration Solution for the Japanese Market

TOKYO - April 18, 2005 - Informatica Corporation, Japan (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), AGREX Inc. (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), and Harte-Hanks Trillium Software (United States) today announced that they have expanded their working relationship to deliver a high-quality data integration solution in the Japanese market that will improve the value and quality of information in data warehouses, customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business intelligence (BI) applications. The Trillium Software Data Quality Connector for Informatica PowerCenter, an enterprise data integration platform, is now Unicode-enabled, enabling Trillium Software System® users in a Japanese environment to connect seamlessly with the Japanese version of Informatica PowerCenter.

The Trillium Software Data Quality Connector for PowerCenter, available immediately, is sold and supported in Japan through Trillium Software's global marketing partner, Agrex, Inc.  Seamless integration between Informatica PowerCenter and the Trillium Software System, by way of the Trillium Software Data Quality Connector for Informatica PowerCenter, gives enterprise customers an end-to-end data transformation process that builds best-of-breed data quality into best-of-breed enterprise data integration, the companies reported.  This integration creates an accurate, unified view of a user's consumer and business customers, built from multiple data formats and sources across the enterprise.

"By having more reliable data in systems, organizations can reduce problems during data loading by eliminating data anomalies that can inhibit the data integration process," said Takemi Hojo, president of Informatica Japan.  "By utilizing the Trillium Software Data Quality Connector, Informatica PowerCenter 7 users can now make the most of its wide data access functionality, as well as its highly productive mapping technology and meta-data driven engine, while leveraging Trillium Software's extensive set of data rules for Japanese."

Through the connector, the Trillium Software System becomes part of the Informatica PowerCenter interface, providing validation, standardization and correction of consumer and business information, as well as record linking.
