CIQ Signs On With AT&TMarch 1, 2005; 04:25 PM Tuesday, March 1, 2005 - CLEARWATER, Fla. - AT&T has won a two-year contract to provide a secure data environment for CIQ Inc., a leading provider of credit hotline and call processing services for businesses and consumers. The agreement expands a long-standing relationship between the companies; terms were not disclosed. AT&T will provide a secure hosting environment for CIQ's call center interactive voice response units and servers at AT&T's Arizona Internet Data Center (IDC), plus inbound voice and Internet connectivity. AT&T owns and operates 26 IDCs around the world. CIQ provides VOISYS tm pre-approval services for consumers seeking auto loans and mortgages throughout the United States. Consumers wanting to purchase a vehicle or obtain mortgage financing call a VOISYS toll-free number and provide information through the interactive voice response system. CIQ then faxes credit confirmation to the appropriate auto dealership. "Communication is the lifeblood of our company," said Paul Snider, CIQ's president/CEO. "We need to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With the reliability of AT&T, we know we'll be up and running through hurricanes, power failures or floods." CIQ can monitor the performance of its network and applications through the secure AT&T customer portal, AT&T BusinessDirectâ, which provides operational efficiencies including around-the-clock online access to real-time reports on network performance and direct connection to trouble management systems.
