Leading web hosting provider Globat has acquired the assets of Newista, a California-based web hosting company. Terms of the transaction were not
disclosed.
"Newista has been very successful in the hosting industry
since 2003 and is known for intensely focusing on
personalized customer service. Customer experience has also
always been Globat's #1 priority," said Globat's CEO Ben R.
Neumann. "It was a natural fit. The combined strengths of
both companies will allow us to offer an even wider range of
web hosting choices along with nearly unprecedented customer
care."
The acquisition enables Globat.com to begin offering
multiple Web hosting platforms, including the popular
cPanel(TM) and Plesk(TM) to its customers. It also
strengthens the company's stronghold in the industry, and
its growing visibility among more experienced Web hosting
consumers.
George Hubert, President of Newista.com, states, "We're
extremely excited to become part of the Globat.com family.
We're proud of our offerings and have long had a strong
footing in the industry. Together with the reach and
resources of Globat.com, we're going to get even stronger."
