Web Hosting Provider Hosted Solutions Upgrades Boston Data Center
HostReview.com Data center and managed services provider Hosted Solutions announced the completion of significant upgrades to the Boston Data Center. In the six months since Hosted Solutions has acquired the Charlestown based Boston Datacenters; nearly $1,000,000 has been invested into new infrastructure upgrades. These upgrades include new network routing infrastructure, redesign of the interior layout promoting better cooling, improved data backup system, additional UPS power support, upgraded monitoring capabilities and increased security features. “We are very excited about the changes made in Boston over our first six months,” says Gary McAuliffe, Vice President and General Manager of the Boston facility. “The Charlestown facility has been a staple of the Boston Internet community for nearly seven years, and we are eager to keep our facility on the leading edge of technology and innovation.” In addition to the improvement already completed, Hosted Solutions intends to spend another $1.5 million in upgrades over the next 12 months.
