New Helm licensing option brings fastest, cheapest growth

The producers of leading Windows based web hosting control panel Helm have rescheduled their pricing to ensure easier and faster growth for webhosts. WebHost Automation (webhostautomation.com) yesterday revealed a new server licensing option which is based on a monthly duration to enable webhosts to start and grow businesses far faster - and cheaper - than ever previously possible. 

The option uses payment of a low monthly license rental fee, set at less than 6% of the full price, rather than a single, permanent license purchase. This means it is far cheaper to get started or even simply to acquire more licenses as and when they are needed, because it effectively lowers the costs involved in procuring licenses. 

Furthermore, it gives true control over business size while removing the risk associated with license purchase, simply because it enable hosts to add (or remove) servers based on true demand. 

While the Helm control panel has long offered fast and cost effective growth options, for some the new tiered discount will mean an immediate discount on their current licensing costs, while for others it might help encourage them to expand right away. 

“Start-up webhosts need to be able to grow quickly at a time when they probably don’t have large cash flow. With Monthly Licensing, they can expand to the size they need to be without breaking the bank,” said Mark Hall, WebHost Automation Founder and Chief Operating Officer. 

Meanwhile, existing webhosts can make the most of tiered discounts that are geared towards actual server volume. That means that hosts are no longer paying for licences they aren’t using, while retaining the ability to add them quickly and cheaply when there is demand. 

“We believe we have hit on a pricing structure that help’s both start-ups and existing hosts grow faster - and more cost effectively - than ever before,” Hall said.
