Host Depot is launching a new next generation dedicated server offering. The new products will be powered by Dells' new PowerEdge™ server line. Host Depot in conjunction with their partners are delivering a product set to provide VARs, ISVs and members of the small to medium sized business (SMB) market with a carrier class server and industry-leading service.

Host Depot is offering three new Dell PowerEdge™ server models starting at an introductory price of under $100 dollars while the higher end models will remain under $400. The four service offerings include the server, operating system, large amounts of bandwidth and additional products and services offered by Host Depot as part of the introductory price. In addition, these plans allow the VARs, ISVs and members of the SMB market the flexibility to customize their solutions to suit their needs, while providing them with the class of service businesses in the new year will come to expect from a hosting provider.

"Put simply, it's a great product backed by great service at a great price point," said Jeff Pettit, VP of Sales and Marketing for Host Depot. "People depend on the hardware and software solutions to fulfill their business needs. It is for this reason we are extending this carrier grade technology to the SMB market. This is an opportunity to leverage the latest next generation technology and the Host Depot service as part of their businesses," added Pettit.

The SMB, value added resellers and software vendor markets are all looking to acquire strong and dependable technology for their business needs, however, too often the price of the server added onto the price of the software and services limits them to purchasing low-end, low performance products. With the added product line announced today, resellers and vendors alike have an opportunity to purchase a comprehensive package with top quality service, an included operating system of their choice and a carrier class Dell PowerEdge™ server. In addition, Host Depot is working hard with its partners to offer other solutions that will be added onto the dedicated server offering.

"We're able to provide these prices because our solution partners such as Dell, Microsoft and many others understand the challenges this market segment has in acquiring top rated technology. By becoming focused and strategic with our partners this allows us to put together a comprehensive program that can greatly benefit customers and allow them to grow or even start their business with top of the line next generation technology and service," said Pettit. Host Depot is committed to continue to forge new relationships and leverage old ones to bring new solutions to this market segment.

Host Depot, Inc. (www.hostdepot.com) was founded in September of 1997 as a technology company with a focus on hosting and the development of integrated e-commerce solutions tailored for small, medium, and large businesses. Since their inception, they have grown to provide a breadth of new services including Internet access products, web site development, promotional services, and high-end e-commerce hosting solutions.
