Web Hosting Solutions Provider Ensim Appoints Dilip Khandekar as Director of Engineering

Web hosting solutions provider Ensim has appointed Dilip Khandekar as Director of Engineering. Mr. Khandekar will be responsible for product development of the company's entire Web and Data Hosting line of products, including Ensim Pro, Unify Web and Database Hosting.

Dilip Khandekar is a veteran of software industry with over thirteen years of experience in architecting and building cutting-edge software products and managing R&D teams. He comes to Ensim after spending 5 years at VMware in Palo Alto, California, USA, where he led development teams to build several virtual infrastructure products. Prior to this he was at HP-UX kernel R&D labs, where he held architect and senior software engineering positions. Mr. Khandekar is an IIT, Mumbai post graduate and has an MS in Computer Science from University of Utah.

Mr. Khandekar is an example of a growing number of NRIs returning to their homeland. He moved back from the US after thirteen years in that country. Desire to raise his daughters in the Indian culture and to be with his parents during their old age were the primary factors for his decision to sell his house, pack the household goods and shift to India. “India has changed significantly since the time when I grew up here, but the fundamental values and beliefs of the culture have stayed the same, and I want my daughters to take these values”, said Mr. Khandekar.
