AusFlightSim.Net, Australia's newest flight simulation enthusiast portal, has now opened. The site offers a growing wealth of flight simulation information, news and events, the majority relating specifically to Australia. The aim at AusFlightSim is to support the local developers, virtual airlines, and users by providing quality up to date news and content.

AusFlightSim.Net, however, is looking for new members from across the globe and fresh, informative and high value content contributions.

AusFlightSim.Net is a great community portal from which to share and discuss their flight simulation experiences while at the same time being kept up to date on the latest developments in the flight sim world. The site features Chat Rooms, Aviation Acronyms, Forums, FAQ's, File Library, Discussion Lists, Opinion Polls, Private Messaging, Screenshot Gallery, Personalised Blogs, METAR Finder and Web Links. It also offers web hosting services to freeware flight simulation developers and community groups with many more features and services to be added in the future.

Currently, AusFlightSim.Net is running its "Contribute & Win" competition, with monthly prize draws leading up to the major draw in December. Each month four lucky members will be drawn to win an AusFlightSim.Net Value T-shirt simply for contributing to our site. All entries into the competition go into the major draw to win a pre-ordered copy of the new Microsoft FSX, together with a six month Computer Pilot Magazine subscription and an AusFlightSim.Net Black Cap and Messenger Bag. For all the details including competition Terms and Conditions visit the Contribute & Win page at http://www.ausflightsim.net.
