Web Host Zen Internet Cuts .EU Prices

UK Web hosting and domain registrar provider Zen Internet (zen.co.uk) announced on Wednesday that it has reduced the prices of .eu domains to bring them in line with its other domain offerings.

The price of the .eu domain with DNS has been reduced from £49 to £24.99 (ex VAT), and the .eu 'domain only' option has been introduced at £14.99 (ex VAT). The launch of the .eu domain has been met with overwhelming success, with over 1.3 million .eu domains registered since last Friday’s launch date.

"The .eu domain has become a valuable addition to our domain portfolio," says Iain Johnstone, sales and partner programme manager at Zen Internet. "The fact that prices have been reduced will be likely to mean that we will see an even higher uptake of these domains."

Established in 1995, the UK-based Zen Internet provides a wide range of Internet services for home and business users, including high speed DSL Broadband Internet access, Web hosting packages, Web site design, e-commerce solutions, and managed network security.
