Digital River, Inc. (www.digitalriver.com), a provider in e-commerce outsourcing, announced it is hosting its Global Network Sales Summit for software publishers from October 11 to 13, 2005, at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Hotel in Scottsdale, Ariz.

At the Summit, Digital River clients are invited to build joint sales and marketing partnerships with software publishers from around the world as well as attend education sessions to learn about the latest e-commerce trends and revenue-generating ideas.

Throughout this fall’s conference, Digital River’s clients will have an opportunity to establish sales and marketing partnerships with other clients during pre-scheduled meetings.

Based on these partnerships, software publishers agree to market and sell each other’s products to their respective customer bases in exchange for a shared revenue arrangement. Last year, millions of dollars were generated as result of thousands of joint client promotions that were defined at Digital Rivers’ Global Network Sales Summits.

“Through our Global Network Sales Summit, we’ve created a venue that our clients consider integral in helping them meet their annual e-commerce sales goals,” said Joel Ronning, Digital River’s CEO.

As part of the education program at Digital River’s Fall Summit, guest speakers from Microsoft Corp., Spunlogic and PartnerCentric will deliver presentations on emerging e-commerce trends, market developments and online software sales.

Digital River, Inc., a global leader in e-commerce outsourcing, builds and manages online businesses for more than 40,000 software publishers, manufacturers, distributors and online retailers. Its multi-channel e-commerce solution, which supports both direct and indirect sales, is designed to help companies of all sizes maximize online revenues as well as reduce the costs and risks of running an e-commerce operation.

The company’s comprehensive platform offers site development and hosting, order management, fraud prevention, export controls, tax management, physical and digital product fulfillment, multi-lingual customer service, advanced reporting and strategic marketing services.
