Host Color Adds Mambo CMS with Max and Mega Plans

Host Color has added pre-ready Mambo installation to its leading hosting plans.

Mambo has earn its place as the leading open-source content management system. The idea behind mambo and other successful automated content management projects such as PHP-Nuke is that the site owner can manage their site using a web interface and different modules and templates.

Host Color's customers will create their Mambo site by using simple interface within Host Color's control panel. The idea is that they do not have to do the whole setup procedure. They automated installation copies the files and sets up the Mambo database for them. In this way the site owner can proceed to formatting the content of the site.

"When developing the Mambo installer we made an effort to make it as simple as possible while keeping the actual program as its creators intended it. We have taken the hassle out installing Mambo, since open source applications sometimes require technical expertice to deploy." says Stanimir Dimitrov, Host Color's Power Tools developer.

Until now HostColor customers could use the Limbo CMS - a lightweight content management system based on Mambo. With the introduction of the automated complete Mambo installations customers are given a choice between the two.

The Mambo Content Management System is available on Host Color's Max and Mega plans. The Mega plan is Host Color's flagship product and with its 2 GB of webspace, SSH access and extras is intended to attract professional and expert webmasters.
