VitalStream Appoints Jourdan J. Clish as VP of Operations

VitalStream, Inc. (www.vitalstream.com), a streaming media solutions provider and international content delivery network, today announced that it has named Jourdan J. Clish as the company’s vice president of operations.

Clish will be responsible for management and direction of the production environment, design of the network infrastructure and management of the operations team for VitalStream®, ultimately driving technical leadership and network growth across the company’s service platform. Clish assumed his new position on August 29, 2005.

Prior to joining VitalStream, Clish held senior positions in the telecommunications and software engineering industries. He served as the director of data services engineering at telecommunications provider XO Communications in San Jose, where he managed a large engineering team, and was responsible for the integration of personnel during the company’s acquisition of Concentric Network Corp.

“I look forward to leading the operations team in continuing to build the reliable, scaleable, high performance network infrastructure critical for serving VitalStream’s customers,” said Jourdan Clish.

“We brought Jourdan on to help build our experienced management team, which has been a long-term corporate objective for VitalStream,” said Philip N. Kaplan, president and COO of VitalStream.

Earlier in his career, Clish held senior positions in software engineering at Concentric Network Corp., NetManage and Lotus Development Corp. While with these companies, he increased the headcount and talent of their engineering teams and lead initiatives to patent several products.
