(www.symantec.com), today announced the Symantec Gateway Security 5600 Series, easy-to-manage, multi-function network security appliances designed to proactively protect against blended threats. Powered by award-winning technologies, Symantec's third generation security platform meets the reliability and performance demands of medium enterprises by offering three high performance models with scalable throughput, built-in hardware redundancy and integrated, optional high availability and load balancing.

Symantec Gateway Security 5600 Series provides seven essential security functions for maximum effectiveness, while reducing the complexity of security management.
