Verio Launches Entry-Level Reseller VPS Hosting Solution
HostReview.com Verio, a subsidiary of NTT Communications and a leader in global IP and managed hosting solutions, today announced a new entry-level plan for its Virtual Private Server version 2 (VPS v2) hosting solution. VPS v2 Basic is available to viaVerio® reseller partners targeting key segments of the Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) market, and provides a unique combination of technology and performance in a managed VPS hosting solution. Reaffirming Verio's commitment to provide resellers a range of hosting solutions, the addition of the VPS Basic Plan supplements Verio's current VPS v2 offerings and meets the needs of those resellers that require a more basic plan and features. “The new VPS v2 Basic plan delivers all the robust features of the VPS technology at a lower entry cost that meets the needs of an additional segment of the reseller market, and provides all resellers another revenue-generating option,” said Jim Ciampaglio, director of SMB reseller sales for the viaVerio program. Verio is also announcing disk space increases on its entire VPS product line, both for reseller and retail accounts, effective immediately. The new amounts represent significant increases, enabling resellers to take full advantage of additional disk space without any additional costs. The new VPS v2 Basic plan is available immediately to viaVerio resellers, with a starting price at $55 USD. More information can be found at www.viaverio.com. Verio also announced today significant promotions targeted at new and existing viaVerio resellers. With these promotions, which include free setup fees, up to three free months of service and up to $500 in free migration services, Verio continues its focus on the reseller channel and offering additional value and services to meet the needs of new and existing reseller partners. Verio's Virtual Private Server (VPS) is a managed hosting environment that divides a single physical Web server into multiple “virtual” servers. Each VPS is a private and protected area that operates independently. The VPS offering also features fair share technology to help ensure guaranteed resources for security and performance demands. |
