Force10 Networks today announced that Hostech Global, Korea's largest server hosting provider, has deployed the TeraScale E-Series to expand capacity and scalability at the core of its network.

Hostech is leveraging the high density and resiliency of the TeraScale E-Series to connect 10,000 servers and deliver services to more than 2,500 customers.

"Our customers rely on our network to store their business critical applications and data and require consistent, reliable access to those applications," said Dong Geun Lim, senior manager of systems operations at Hostech Global.
With servers that are increasingly more powerful, Hostech needed to increase both the capacity of its network as well as the reliability to maintain its competitive advantage.

"Hostech Global has become the largest hosting provider in Korea by deploying the industry's most advanced technologies, ensuring that it always provides added value to its customers," said Mark Cooper, senior vice president of worldwide sales at Force10 Networks.

Force10's TeraScale E-Series leads the industry in density, performance and resiliency. The TeraScale E-Series supports 1,260 Gigabit and 56 line-rate 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a single chassis and can process one billion packets per second, the highest in the industry.
