Web Hosting Provider XO Names Jim Delis President of Indirect Sales

XO Communications, Inc. (www.xo.com) today announced that Jim Delis has been appointed president of indirect sales. Previously, Delis was vice president of channel marketing where he oversaw marketing programs for XO’s commercial, carrier and indirect sales organizations. In his new role, Delis will be responsible for leading sales and strategy for XO’s indirect channel. He will report to XO’s Chief Operating Officer, Wayne Rehberger.

Delis replaces Rob Westervelt who has left the company to pursue other opportunities.

“Jim has extensive experience at all levels of marketing, sales and customer programs, making him the perfect candidate to lead our indirect channel,” said Wayne Rehberger. “His experience, leadership skills and deep knowledge of XO’s capabilities prepare him well to lead our indirect channel to the next level of performance.”

Delis’ other experience at XO included serving as vice president of sales operations where he oversaw development and execution of sales channel systems, processes and programs. He also served as director of sales for XO’s Las Vegas market. Prior to joining XO, he held sales positions with AT&T Wireless and McCaw Cellular.

Delis graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Political Science.
